Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competing in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister, and also a UFC competitors. She won via second-round TKO followed by 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer after which she took a lengthy break from MMA. She came back in 2017 when she faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui in an unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in a unanimous decision. She quit the club in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her power of striking by tying Nievera with knees. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina received an UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko took the win by unanimous decision, but she was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing her next three fights to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
