Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique style of his rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries, and throughout his childhood, he traveled a lot along with them. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness as did his mom Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker and his dad moved to Denver, where they lived in the home of his dad's aunt. The other kids of the neighborhood were bullies Baker due to his indigence. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker began to take up the art of rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Texas. With his music, he is famous for mixing modern hip-hop styles and rock. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during the years between 2007-2010, prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland artist became an international star after he made the transition from self-releasing his mixtapes, and then signing with reputable record labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after he released his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
